From the world of Hollywood’s elite to international brand campaigns, from the fraternal halls of leadership to the halls of academia, Danny’s impact is felt far and wide.
A Cinematic Force Like No Other
Born on July 6th in New York City, Danny’s love for film began before he could drive. As a high school student, he turned his classmates and neighborhood kids into stars, directing silent 8mm films that foreshadowed his future in the industry. That early passion evolved into a film and photography career that has spanned decades, continents, and industries—shaping visual narratives that captivate and inspire.
His work wasn’t just seen—it was showcased at the 85th Academy Awards, where an interview he shot and directed with Nora Ephron for Barnes & Noble was featured in the In Memoriam tribute before an audience of over 40 million viewers.
In 1984, while stationed in Ray Barracks, Friedberg, Germany during the Cold War, Danny enrolled in his first photography course—a decision that would set him on a lifelong journey of mastering both the art and science of visual storytelling. Even as he now harnesses the power of digital media, he still treasures the discipline of darkroom processing—a rare breed of artist who has mastered both the past and the future of image creation.
His fluency in English, Spanish, and German has allowed him to work with international clients, breaking down language barriers and opening doors in an industry where communication is everything.

Danny doesn’t just shoot films—he creates magic. He has worked with Hollywood’s finest, from Jamie Foxx to Steve Martin, Jane Fonda, Jane Lynch, and Juan Luis Guerra. As the Director of Photography on the feature film Cellar (shot in 35mm and 16mm) and Cinematographer on A Killing Day (2012), he has proven time and time again that his eye behind the camera is unmatched.
But his expertise goes beyond cinema. As a commercial director, he has helped shape the brand image of some of the biggest names in the industry, including:
